Bow Challenge Rig

Hold to lift the bow off its cradles and up to the chest. The load cell reading travels through the indicator to the laptop, the software keeps each participant's best valid pull, and the LED screen and leaderboard update live.

Raw peak includes jerks and spikes. Best valid only counts force held for the full hold time, so a jerk on the bow doesn't win.

How a pull becomes a score

  1. Load cellThe bow rests on two cradles. A steel extension spring ties the grip down to the platform with the S-type cell in line. The harder the lift, the more the spring stretches and the higher the bow rises, and the cell reads the force directly.
  2. IndicatorConverts the millivolt signal into kg and streams a reading 10 times a second over USB or RS-232.
  3. Laptop softwareReads the port, applies the hold rule, keeps each participant's best valid reading and the leaderboard.
  4. LED screenShows the live pull, the final result and the top scores over HDMI.
